Services CEI Provides  

CEI provides engineering services to the food processing and packaging industry. Our experience overlaps many areas including fruit handling, processing, packaging, freezing, concentration and dehydration. To supplement the process, we provide process support design for refrigeration, steam generation and mechanical piping systems and controls. 

CEI's role on projects vary from basic consultation, acting as an extension to the owner's engineering staff, providing services for a portion of the scope under another engineering firm's direction, to full service engineering and overall project management. We are very flexible and can adapt to the needs of the project and client. Project  costs range from a few thousand dollars to 60-70 million dollars. Typical new plant or expansion projects are in the range of 10-20 million dollars.

CEI has the capability to provide full engineering services through  their own engineers and by partnering with others. We work with client preferred firms and if there are preferences, CEI will form a team with other engineering firms that we have developed relationships with.

   CEI's Approach   

We develop a scoping or programming document for all projects which defines the project in detail with respect to the overall objective and CEI's role in meeting the objective. We call it an Execution and Control plan/manual.
